PADI Discover SCUBA
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme lets you experience the thrill of diving underwater whilst under the close supervision of a PADI Professional. During your adventure, you'll master some basic concepts and scuba skills, gain experience of breathing and seeing underwater and feel the attraction of SCUBA through being weightless, enhancing your own sense of serenity and relaxation.
Our programme begins at our Dive Centre with an introductory talk and an introduction to the equipment you’ll be using as well as covering some important points on safety and what to expect. After arriving at our local pool facilities, you’ll enter the water ready for your scuba adventure.
We will help you through every step of your adventure. Our staff will help you to put on your SCUBA gear and guide you into the water where you’ll have the chance to dive down up to 3 metres.
Often participants, once they Discover Scuba Diving, go on to enroll in our full Open Water course and if you and your instructor elect to practice certain skills, they may be credited to PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification programmes we teach.
Whether you approach the Discover Scuba Programme for a “try” or “experience” or both, we are sure the adventure will stay clearly in your memory!
To go on your Discover Scuba adventure, you must at least be 10 years or older (8 - 10 years old for Bubblemaker) and complete the Discover Scuba Statement.
Typically our Discover Scuba Diving sessions are run on Tuesday and Saturday evenings. You’ll spend up to 1 hour underwater, and we think you’ll enjoy every minute!
