Some early pictures from the Dive Rutland trip on Saturday to the Midlands Dive Chamber, where a dry dive to 50m was completed by all.
A full report will be in the next club newsletter, but lets just say the footage of the group singing Old MacDonald had a farm and not being able to name one animal between them is quite amusing.
Thanks to Robbie and the team at Midlands Dive Chamber for an informative visit.
Refill is a national, practical tap water campaign that aims to make refilling your bottle as easy, convenient and cheap as possible by introducing refill points on every street and Dive Rutland are pleased to say we have become part of the movement
So reduce your plastic water bottle usage by using a refillable drinks container and if passing whether walking, out on your cycle, motorbike or taking a tour around our beautiful countryside, please feel free to stop in and refill those drinks containers.
Want to find out more about Refill then visit there website here and lets get Rutland on the map
I returned to the Dive Centre after spending last year with James Dames as he won me for the 'best shark attack' at the annual Dive Rutland Staff Rescue Practise in readiness for the 2018 practise.
This is something that the team at Dive Rutland undertake yearly to keep their skills fresh, with timed swims, rescue practise and then THE scenario that everyone gets given a part but no-one (except Tracey) knows the overall scenario, but it is based on real incidents that were recorded in the annual diving incident report.
This year I have gone home with Gill Cooper.. see you all next year.
