Today was the turn of Eagle and Collins... with a zero score from Eagle but a two from Collins... so Collins in Senior week are joint leaders, with Collins junior team still leading the overall score board.
We should congratulate Senior team Collins on some impressive team work, the best we have seen so far. Todays teams that joined us for their diving / weightlessness / team building session at Space School UK were Armstrong and Saturn 5. With Saturn 5 becoming the Seniors leading team but still the Juniors collins to beat...
![]() So today I have been asked a number of times, why did Bridget and I spend Sunday or at least a large part of Sunday at Stoney Cove on our day of. Well it’s a long story. BUT… the reason comes back to one of the reasons I became a PADI Professional and am instructor and started Dive Rutland Limited.
The aim is help ANY individual who wants to experience diving regardless of who they are… everyone should be allowed to grow, be nurtured and become the best that they can be… the mantra Teach people and not coursesis very much at the fore of everything we are and do here at Dive Rutland. So, when someone reaches out for help in attending our local Instructor Exam (IE) at Stoney Cove, just because they are not trained by us… why should we not help them achieve their own potential? We are after all one family – a diving family. We had the pleasure of helping Philippa and supporting her and her mum during the weekend, she did all the hard work, all we did was encourage, support and oh yes stand in the rain! but it is what we do and would have done for our own IE candidates and then at the end of it cheer and congratulate… we did nothing.. Philippa did it all and we congratulate her on becoming a PADI instructor and wish her nothing but success in whatever she chooses to do moving forward – we will be here as and when and if our support is asked for again. Today was the start of the Seniors week at Space School Uk. We were joined by teams Aldrin and Hamilton.
Aldrin landed one satellite with Hamilton who out space-nerded Aldrin landed none - their team work and rocket science need work! So who is going to win the challenge a Junior or Senior team - Juniors (team Collins) currently are in the lead. And so to the final two teams of Junior Space School 2019.. today it was the turn of Aldrin and Apollo 11 Congratulations to team Collins who are this weeks team of the week
Next week sees the start of Senior Space School. |
