Back in December we blogged about a couple who had built a vehicle out of recycled plastic via a 3D printer the goal was to drive across Antarctica using that vehicle completely on solar power, and in the process, inspire people to rethink waste.
To see it as something valuable, and not worthless.
At the time here at Dive Rutland we had been developing a kids club idea based around the worlds coral and coral conservation, but were short on practical ideas for the children to complete.
The 3D printer printing idea, suddenly made one of those random ideas that we have a possibility, if we could get it to work.
So, that's what we did (or one of the things we did), during the Christmas break, created 'coral', ok it needs painting, but what a create activity for our Kids Club in February - watch this space for more information
But then like all good ideas we got a little carried away, so the shop now has a new clock
