There have been so many opportunities to learn during this time in isolation. I have gotten back into language learning, taken a course on the composition of the Artic, and attended many webinars on various diving topics.
Tonight, I attended a webinar hosted by Mark Powell the man who wrote the book Deco for Divers.
The Diver Medic has been holding daily webinars focused on different medical topics in diving. Monday, I heard from Jill Heinierth on Immersion Pulmonary Oedema, tonight was decompression case studies, and tomorrow I will attend another webinar presented by Dr Doug Ebersole on Women’s Health in Technical Diving.
While these are topics that interest me, there are many other webinars available and even virtual training available from PADI.
This weekend you can attend a course on Coral Conservation hosted by Tracey or we are looking at delivering other Project Aware courses virtually during our lockdown.
Enriched Air, Equipment Specialist, or even your Open Water, Advanced, Rescue Diver or Divemaster theory can all be done while we are in isolation.
Mental Health First Aid courses are also being scheduled!
Email us to talk about what you want to achieve while in lockdown, even if you just want to talk about writing your travel bucket list or making your dive kit shopping list, a virtual coffee is always available!
