Background
The course is split into a number of sections
- Primary Care - This teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies.
- Secondary Care - This section covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life-threatening.
- Knowledge Reviews
- Multi-choice final exam
The Primary and Secondary care sections are undertaken by a combination of classroom teaching with lots and lots of practical practise to allow you the student time to become comfortable with the skill. We want everyone to walk away from this course with the willingness to apply the skills learnt in the unfortunate event of being faced with a life-threatening emergency

On successful completion of the course an Emergency First Response Primary/Secondary Care with AED certification card valid for two years is issued.

Every two years you should refresh your certification, which is a practical recap on all of the skills you completed as part of the original course along with any updates that may have been applied or updated to the skills and theory.
