This comprehensive First Aid at Work Training Course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt safe and effective manner. This course will give the participants a qualification at the highest level of first aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981.

How long is the First Aid At Work (FAW) Course -  Blended?

Typically this course is run over 2 consecutive days onsite with prior reading. 

What are the course materials for the First Aid At Work (FAW) Course?

A high Quality easy to read Primary and Secondary Care Manual with First Aid at Work Participant Manual are provided to all attendees and access to the videos prior to the commencement of the course. 

And a Rutland First Aid vinyl barrier set containing gloves and face guards, which you can connect to your keyring and never be without a full set of barriers

What are the course pre-requisites for the First Aid At Work (FAW) Course?

Candidates must be physically able to carry out the detailed procedures (see course overview)

Is there an assessment to pass the First Aid At Work (FAW) Course?

The HSE no longer require an independent assessment of Emergency First Aid at Work candidates. Throughout the course you will be continually monitored and assessed. Along with a multiple choice question paper on the final afternoon.

Course Accreditation

To renew your First Aid at Work qualification you must complete a First Aid At Work Requalification course BEFORE your certificates expires, this will provide you with another three-year certificate. Once certificates have expired the first aider is no longer considered to be competent to act as a workplace first aider.
